Do we need to bring our own linen?
We supply all linen for beds and towels (bath, hand and washcloths).  You should bring your own beach towels.

What about paper products?
Toilet tissue, paper towels and napkins are provided.

Are there cooking utensils in the kitchens?
Each of our units has a fully-stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, glasses and cookware.

Can I bring my dog?
Responsible pet owners are invited to bring their well-behaved dogs.

Where is the beach?
The beach is located only 1 1/2 blocks away.  To get there from our property, you walk down our path, which is found behind the main house near the fire pit, to Berrien Street, take a left and walk 1 1/2 blocks west. 

Are there any stores or restaurants nearby?
We are located almost directly behind the Red Arrow Roadhouse, which serves delicious lunches and dinners.  Also within walking distance is the Whistle Stop,  serving coffee, deli and gourmet food products.

Who can use the hot tub and fire pit?
The hot tub and fire pits are all located in the "common area" and are used by all our guests on a first come- first serve basis.  Each unit is supplied with a BBQ grill and a more private eating/relaxing area.

Do our units get cleaned daily?
No, housekeeping is scheduled between stays.  There is no daily maid service.

Are there local phones in the units?
No, phones are not provided. 

What about Internet usage?
All our units are capable of supplying wireless Internet usage.

What kind of T.V. usage is there?
All units have cable T.V., VCR's and DVD players.  Selected movies suitable for children are provided.

I've never been to this area before.  What is there to do?
Each unit is supplied with a book that is packed full of information regarding activities to do in the area.  Also, the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce website is full of information.
 

GENERAL INFORMATION AND POLICIES

1.  Your reservation is guaranteed with your deposit.  The balance is due upon arrival.

2.  Check in is 4:00 p.m. and Check out is 10:00 a.m. unless previous arrangements have been made.

3.  Our quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m.  We are in a residential area and ask our guests to respect this time in deference to our other guests and neighbors.

4.  Elephant Walk Cottages is a smoke-free facility.  Ash trays are provided on outside tables for our guests who choose to smoke.
